Lead Data Architect – Snowflake / WhereScape

Up to £120,000 base plus industry leading bonus scheme

As a Principal Consultant you will get to work with a variety of companies, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses. Each project and client challenge will give you the chance to advance your career as you learn about new industries, businesses, and technologies.

In addition, this role will require the following:

• Lead a team to deliver Snowflake, WhereScape and AWS based, large scale projects
• Be a true Data strategist and Design and Architect full SDLC data transformation programmes
• Pre-Sales involvement with new potential clients
• Mentor, coach and develop existing team members to make them the best they can be
• Present, lead and inspire at Industry events and conferences as and when required
• Build close working relationships with key software vendors

Qualifications

• Solid Snowflake Design and Architecture experience
• WhereScape skills
• Some (or all!) experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Tableau, Alteryx
• Advanced knowledge of DWH development methodologies, dimensional modelling, standards and procedures.
• Advanced Level SQL skills
• Advanced level experience in the following toolsets: Cloud Architectures, Data Engineering, Data Analytics Products, and Advanced Analytics
• Consultancy / Pre-Sales / RFP experience
